We started out as a business to business gem provider in 2011 by exporting Ceylon sapphires to dealers, jewelers and retailers across the planet. Our main market is the U.S., but we have established relationships with companies and clients in many other countries as well.
fine quality Ceylon sapphires naturally became our primary focus and they still comprise the largest share of our exports. Due to the rising popularity of alternatives to the ‘big three’ of the colored gem trade however, we also offer other gem species like chrysoberyls, spinels, tourmalines and garnets. We do not, have not, nor will ever deal in synthetic, lead-glass filled or beryllium diffusion treated stones. We’re trained gemologists and Fellows of the Gemmological Association of Great Britain, as well as members of the GIA Alumni association.
We pride ourselves on our strict and uncompromising quality criteria. From finding the right stones to recut based on color, clarity and yield, to rigorous color editing for each and every stone and picture in order to offer unmatched accuracy to many of our discerning and color-sensitive clients, all of our work is focused on quality.
Our stock only includes gems we'd be happy to own ourselves: they follow strict color and clarity criteria and are recut to improve their beauty, durability and rarity to levels well above what's usually available on the market.
The images on this website are purposely made to look as accurate to life as possible on the widest range of devices, and the descriptions strive to represent all stones objectively following traditional, strict gem trade guidelines.
No amount of additional work or effort is too much: gems aren't groceries and they're difficult to buy even in person, never mind online. In addition to providing color-calibrated photos and accurate descriptions, we don't shy away from sending as many additional videos and answering as many additional questions as needed until you're 100% confident you're making the right choice.
As a small team of husband and wife, we're able to devote all of our attention and energy to working closely with our customers from initial contact to the moment you receive the stones.
